I was set apart as a missionary on March 10, 2011 by my Stake President Charles Rich. Mom, Dad and I then loaded up the car to drive to Utah on March 12, 2011. We decided the drive to Utah would be my first preparation day. We had an early lunch with Jolie Long in Las Vegas. We stopped just outside of St. George Utah to view Kolob Canyon.
I spent the night in Provo with my old roommates and spent some time with friends. Debbie was my first "unofficial" companion. She drove me up to my Uncle David and Aunt Annette's home on March 13.
